Cat O’Shae, a Christian romance writer who moved to Snow Valley sets a New Year’s resolution to create romance off the page. When her eyes lift from the computer screen, they land on Sam Miller, an unlikely candidate for a romantic hero, except he sure does look good in a cowboy hat and he did save her from one mad chicken… Sam might just be what she needs to start the New Year off right.

Wedding Fever A Snow Valley Romance edition by Lucy McConnell Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

I love reading Lucy's books. All of them. I haven't read a bad one. I love her characters, the sweet, clean love story. I love Snow Valley too. Such a fun small town.
This was an okay read. It was quick, romantic and clean. It was entertaining for a couple of hours but I've read better by this author.
A good, short, clean western romance. So far I really like this author, although it is a little heavy on the kissing. I prefer continuing the story line than wasting words on them kissing every time you turn around. I do enjoy the Snow Valley romances.
Sam has had enough of deceitful women who pretend to like him to get a date but aren't actually interested in him. He doesn't want to date just for fun. He wants to find someone to love. He wants a wife. Cat is interested in Sam but is she giving off the wrong vibes? Is she sending off too many "friend zone" messages? When her father offers her a job, will she accept and move away from Snow Valley forever? Or will something (or someone) make her change her mind and stay?
A sweet, clean, romantic story that would make a perfect Hallmark movie.
Sweet, but Sam had a lot of ground to make up from the 1st book. The author does a respectable job in making Sam into a decent guy, but not so much the sharpest knife in the drawer. Not that Cat seems overly bright either. It's easy to go from rooting for them to wanting to knock their heads together on more than one occasion. Enjoyed their happily-ever-after, but not entirely the ride taking me there. A bit too much cluelessness and dragging out the separation. OTOH, kissing in the closet scene deserves a star all its own!

*Clean romance passionate kiss level only
Wedding Fever A Snow Valley Romance is by Lucy McConnell. This is a short novel that is easy to read and keeps your attention. It is just plain fun to read. Lucy does an excellent job in writing novels that appeal to the senses and the place the story is set. This is set in Snow Valley, Montana in the winter.
Sam Miller set out to do a favor for his friend Chet while Chet was on his honeymoon. It seemed like all of his friends and even those he didn’t know well were getting married. Sam wanted to be married and have the life his friends were having. The only problem was he didn’t even have a girlfriend. It seemed that every time he dated, something turned wrong and they left him for someone else. He thought about Chet’s sister-in-law; but Cat had made it clear that she only wanted him for a friend. He would keep looking.
Catrina O’Shae had come to Snow Valley with her sister to set up a home for their Grandpa. He had been born here and wanted to come home. Now that Mercedes was married, Cat lived with her Grandpa and helped him out. Cat also wrote historical romances and was good at that. She began to fashion her male character after Sam. As she did, she realized she might want Sam as more than a friend. However, she wanted more out of life too. Her Father offered her a job at the university in Boston. Should she take it or stay and hope she could make Sam like her better? What was she to do?
Love Lucy McConnell writing. The romance is sweet, the hero is great.
